Printing Tips
Did you know that Local Printers are ofter cheaper than places like Walgreens or CVS?
Walgreens Price: 8x10 = $3.99, 11x14 = $11.99
Local Print Shop: 8x10 &11x14 in color = $2 or less (& it is usually cheaper in black & white).
How to order at your Local Print Shop:
Bring the PDF file of the image you want to print on an flash drive/USB drive.
Tell the print shop:
1. The size you are printing: 8x10 (unless you specifically asked for a different size).
2. If it is in color or black & white (will affect the cost).
3. What kind of paper you want the image to be printed on.
*Types of Paper:
- Glossy card stock (My personal preference - The glossy finish gives a professional quality, and I love how the colors shine).
- Matte card stock (A great choice if you don’t want or like glare).
*You can always ask for a quote, or price estimate, before you print to make sure you are happy with the price.
*Most Local Printing Shops will also cut down your print to the correct size for you.

Framing/Hanging Tips:
- Great places to find beautiful, affordable frames are places like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, & Target.
- You can make an 8x10 print feel bigger by getting a larger frame with a mat.
- For a Contemporary Twist, you can use nails/push pins & binder clips to hang your print without needing a frame. Just attach the binder clips to the print and then hang the clips from the push pins or small nails.
